Marriage Proposal | Louise & Ken | Windansea Beach

A surfboard marriage proposal!  Ken contacted me about doing a photo shoot with his girlfriend Louise before he leaves for Medical School. They met at UCSD and Louise is now a chemist. Should I comment on their great chemistry? 😉 The unsuspecting Louise did a great job on styling wardrobe for their “photo shoot experience”.


Note the surfers walking in the background. Ken asked them to “get out of the way!”

They flipped their surfboards shocking Louise, then Ken flipped open the box!

Marriage Proposal | Emily & Alex | La Jolla Cove

They met in school and have been together over four years. Emily had no idea of Alex’s intention to propose so he went all out in his plan to surprise her. They flew in from Kansas for the July 4th weekend.  After they had appetizers and happy hour at George’s at the Cove they hiked up Coast walk trail while I followed at a distance until Alex found a good spot to pop the question……

Whitney & Aaron Engaged! | Wind n Sea Beach | May 27

Aaron surprised  his girlfriend Whitney with a quick getaway trip to San Diego (they live in Alberta, Canada). We talked about having me photograph his proposal on Sunday, but he opted to propose to her over dinner Friday night with the engagement session on Sunday being an added surprise!
