He was drawn to her quirky sense of humor that seems to run throughout both families. From Jenny’s crossed eyes during a ‘romantic’ moment to putting her twin sister in a choke hold it was all out fun for everyone!

Marriage Proposal | Amy & Chad | La Jolla Cove

Chad emailed me back in April while planning his trip from Florida to San Diego with the idea of proposing to his girlfriend on the beach. We planned it so we would bump into each other at La jolla cove and pretend to know each other from High School and; since I would have my camera, Chad would ask if I could get one picture of the two of them. I suggested we go to a spot “over there on the rocks”, took one picture of them looking at the camera, Chad said “wait one more picture!” He dropped to one knee and popped the question!

She Said Yes!!  Amy’s Mom & Dad (not shown, he was taking pictures behind me just in case ;))  and Chad’s friends  witnessed the proposal!

Cindy met Mike through friends or was it at a bar.. Mike 😉 the story kept changing but it does not matter because these two are perfectly smitten with each other. We had a great time running around the beach!

Looking forward to the wedding at Karl Strauss Brewery Gardens next June!


I got hit by this wave too so it was all fair!

Kelsey & Jake Engagement | La Jolla | June 18

Kelsey  first met Jake while playing together in High School Band. It wasn’t until years later when their paths crossed again that they would,

wait for it….you know it’s coming.. .from a mile away…make music together! 🙂
