Jolene & Mike are visiting from Phoenix this week to enjoy the beach, cooler weather and of course, celebrating their engagement. Together for four years and looking cute together with no signs of camea shyness that I was warned of at the beginning of our shoot!
It was love at first sight at a friend’s party. Somehow they just knew they were meant to be…. so within a very short time, Cherilyn & Jason are now planning their wedding in Kauai!
The heat was on during their beach engagement session with some movie inspired rolling around in the cold water.

Cowboy theory: all things being equal, the ladies will pick the cowboy! Loree saw this Rugby playing Cowboy from Newfoundland across the bar and knew she had to meet him. Jason proposed to Loree at Cabrillo National Monument so we returned for the engagement session.

We did not know what to expect with the weather on Saturday with a mix of heavy rain and sunshine all day changing from moment to moment. Fortunately, the rain stopped long enough for Anne & Dave’s engagement photo shoot on the beach. The energy between these two would brighten anyone’s day! Appropriately, Dave works for a company named Life is Good!

Long engagements and over a year of planning a wedding is overrated! Let’s get right to the fun part! Engagement session on Monday followed by the Wedding on Saturday for Elise & Jamie.
They did a “first look” since the ceremony was after sunset. The first look is a great moment and they got some alone time together before the festivities began at Karl Strauss.
