Marriage Proposal in San Diego |Megan & Corey

Corey K. emailed me a few weeks ago about doing a surprise marriage proposal on the beach in San Diego since he was going to be flying in from Philadelphia for a mini vacation with his girlfriend Megan. We decided on La Jolla and exchanged text messages to confirm the exact spot and that I had them in my sight. We did a photo shoot after she said Yes! And then they headed to George’s for dinner to celebrate!

Brenda & Jerome – engagement | La Jolla Cove

When I started shooting weddings 14 years ago in Boulder, CO, my friend Jerome said he wanted me to be his wedding photographer. I am sure I replied with something smart like “Jerome, you should find a girlfriend first!”

We’ll he did! So Jerome and Brenda flew in from Boulder for the weekend engagement session and the wedding will be in Santa Barbara wine country this September.
